Automatic Tables - Solor

A compilation of information about automatic Mahjong tables manufactured by Solor (also USA MJ TABLE).

Note: this information has been synthesized from multiple official and unofficial sources as well as personal experience. If you see anything that is not accurate, please let me know.

Each of the four sides is marked with a wind direction: East 東, South 南, West 西, North 北. However, unlike common styles of play where turn order proceeds in this order counter-clockwise, these tables are instead marked in this order clockwise.

Here's some useful controls:

Stop Shuffle: If the table is currently shuffling, press the two red buttons to inturupt the current shuffle and raise the table center. Press either red button to resume and lower the table center.
Cancel Hand: Hold two opposite green buttons (e.g. East and West) for ~3 seconds to cancel the current hand. If the center of the table is raised, it will be lowered without dispensing any tiles.
Mode Selection: Hold two adjacent green buttons (e.g. East and South) for ~3 seconds to enter mode selection. After you hear the beep, use the two red buttons to change the displayed mode. Then, press any green button to confirm selection and return to normal mode. The mode will take effect after the next time tiles are dispensed.

Here's how to read the "Wall Lengths" column in the mode chart below:

All walls are 2 tiles high.
A value of 17 x4 would mean that the table dispenses a wall 17 tiles wide to all four sides.
A value of 17 x3 would mean that the table dispenses a wall 17 tiles wide to sides East, South, and West.
A value of 17 x2 would mean that the table dispenses a wall 17 tiles wide to sides East and West.
A value of 17 x1 would mean that the table dispenses a wall 17 tiles wide to the East side.
A value of (10, 11, 12, 13) would mean that the table dispenses a wall 10 tiles wide to East, 11 tiles wide to South, 12 tiles wide to West, and 13 tiles wide to North.

An additional mode "00" is available for manual testing of each of the table's motors.
